The RC5215P is a very popular player...They'll do the job, but overall I found them hard to navigate and figure out which button to press to turn things on and off...Vibration - This player vibrates a lot...The RCA RC5215P didn't look at that good on the screen...

The RCA RC5215P DVD player has a built-in parental control...The RCA RC5215P's main advantage is its price, and you can still find cheaper, and better players, so thats not really much of an asset...

For a machine that only cost $99 marked down from $120, this RCA player has a lot of features, high quality playback, good sound, and a rather fast DVD drive...Granted, some of the video and audio performance is due to my TV (which is excellent), but it seems to me that the DVD player does a good job of reading the data on the DVD...

RCA/Thomson and their 90-day warranty were no help whatsoever -- they want me to pay them $90 to fix their product that didn't even work for 9 months...In addition, the picture would suddenly become pixilated and I would have to power down the unit to fix the problem...If you already own one and it hasn't quit on you yet, it will...

everytime I play a dvd in the unit it does the same thing around an hour and 15-20 min.it does the expected freezing frames, audio loss and skipping scenes...so some information may be slightly out-of-date...I read all the other reviews by Epinions members and this seems to be a common problem...
