With the tethered 7130e, the first day I got ~500kbps, not bad at all...On the PCMCIA card I used to "activate" it periodically to get the latest tower locations (thats what I was told it did, <shrug>), is there a similar action I need to take on the 7130e to do a network update...Just remember that once you have it setup you'll have to fire up the Desktop Manager...

The 7130e appeared on my desk friday morning...Just for the fun of it we tested the Cingular 8700c's EDGE highspeed against the VZW 7130e's EV-DO and loading MSNBC, FOX News and CBS News' websites...I just got my 7130e 4 days ago...I read somewhere else that a usb driver needed to be developed for 7130e...

Also, forgive me as I'm a complete BB newb, but if my company has standarized on T-Mobile 7100's with BES, can I use a Verizon BB on the same system...My first impression is that the keypas looks easier to use with softer and bigger buttons...My 7100t came loaded with a handful of dandy nature shots that you can use as wallpaper...

I've had my 7130e for 5 days now (work e-mail & voice) to replace an old RIM...Here is my initial opinion on the 7130e and comparison to...Overall I like it both as a data device, and as a phone...system is pretty good at recognizing the words you are typing without much...
