Nothing's confirmed, but the BlackBerry 8700 supposedly will come in two flavors, an EV-DO version for Verizon and Sprint and an EDGE version for Cingular, and will have built-in GPS, 64MB of RAM, and the ability to natively view email attachments (rather than require third-party plug-ins...The 8700 will be coming out for sale shortly however we do not have a set date...

I have had an 8700c for just over a year...And in over a year of mistreating the 8700c, it has performed like a champ...It has a long battery life, and the built in profiles work just fine for me...It will not work as an MP3 player, though, and it does not support any sort of flash storage media, so it's not expandable...

For more info on a specific newsletter, click the title...It kept rebooting itself everytime I put it in the holster...RIM makes a great product.I would rate the Blackberry 8700 hardware as excellent all the way around, Cingular has been fair to good, but most Cellular providers are about the same in my experience...

The ad also lists the BlackBerry 8700c as having quad-band GSM/EDGE, Bluetooth, and hands-free speakerphone capability...I like how RIM chose a full QWERTY layout for the 8700c rather than the style used on their other new BlackBerry devices...

The Operating system isnt bad by any means, it is extremely stable even at this point with the software not being close to finalized, and the WM5.0 is a strong competitor, just depends on what your needs are in a device thats all......I explained I have a good relationship with RIM and that it wasn't worth tarnishing it with some stupid auction to make how much...Cause right now there is...
