In the box comes the player, some headphones, including the piece to do the volume and limited track control from the wire...I bought one, based on some good online reviews, and there was an online shop that had one at a good price, and in stock...It is plastic, so is very light, but it does not give me the impression...

Before I go into the small changes that make this a much better player than the previous models, I should cover the biggest difference -- the inclusion of an FM tuner...It fits in my hand much better and is much easier to operate than the round remote that came with the SP100...That's the same sort of battery behavior I found with the SP100...At first, the SP250 seems a tough call...

The digital read out is difficult to decifer at times...Upgrading the software is supposed to be simple, but I have yet to figure it out, and I cons......It's proven durable, and can navigate convoluted directory structures to find your mp3, wma, and (whatever the firmware supports next) audio...
