SAMSUNG HL-S5679 SUPPORT & TROUBLESHOOTING
www.avsforum.com
The 5679 would have been covered for additional issues with the power cycle problem as an ongoing issue but nothing else so I figured this was the best course of action...Overall I'm happy with how things turned out...Overall I'm happy with how things turned out...

Samsung HL-S5679W being delivered...They had my contact info from a pre-reserve I had on the unit...Call 1.800.340.4770, ask for Chris, tell him Isaac Kishk referred you, so the price matching is easier...

LCDs can NOT burn in, because they don't use chemical phosphors...I've read the press releases from Samsung and scuttlebutt from CNET from CES...The light source is different than the current model...

I have a 720p 50" RPTV and I have to sit within 4 feet to see it...I think Cnet is pretty good, but you can get other good reviews just by googleing the model number of the display you're interested in...My TV just might suffer a terrible accident...
