At where I'm looking to buy there's around a $500 price difference between the LN-40A550 and the LN-40A630...I'll be using the TV as a PC monitor the most, but it will also be hooked up to HD cable and a 360...I've seen Auto Motion Plus running on a friend's set, and my feelings about are mixed...

anyways i believe this is still a very good deal for those looking to buy a new lcd tv, as this is $300-400 off the normal price of most places...lots of good deals for this tv out there...well for me, the portable dvd player offer worked out best since im not a fan of xbox, but that too is a very good deal...

Coincidentally, the g/f and I watched "Milk" last night on DVD via 360 and she commented how good the picture looked...Good thing I hardly ever use my PS3......In any respect, it looks good on this set...

This is NOT the LN40A550 for $799 but the LN40A500 which has a lower contrast ratio (20K instead of 30K), 2 HDMI (instead of 3), and no side jacks...Amazon just lowered the LN40A550 to $958 (11/22/08...
