So, I was happy to jump ship from my 36" Mitsubishi from 1991 to a new, sparkly Samsung LCD TV (LN55B650...Everything worked great until I noticed none of the dialog in movies (Sony DVD (read: standard 480p) connected via component (yes, it's that old) was in sync with the video...after a bit more playing around, it appears that there is about a 20ms delay in "game mode",...

There are a few recommended fixes if you have clouding that is poor around the edges...When I called Samsung, they basically told me too bad since I didn't have warranty past 1 year...While the PQ might be comparable to more expensive TVs (truly this TV looks that good), lesser auxiliary issues like tying a rope to a wall to keep the TV from falling shouldn't even be something you should...

I might just go for a 55" sammy LED...The LN55B650 is 55 inches verses the LN52B750 which is 52...It looks like this code is working on other Samsung TV's...

We have finally narrowed it down to either the Samsung LN55B650 or the LG 60PS60...While the LG seems like the better value, we are a little apprehensive about buying a TV that we haven't seen in person --especially since we just came out of a bad warranty situation...
