If all goes well you should end up in Samsung's setup utility...Go to wherever you extracted the drivers and type: ./setup.sh...Just do the same thing, and it will work...

Most laser printers require the complete document to be loaded into printer memory before printing but if you are only using it to print letters that won't be a problem...If the refurb is good (has it had a new toner drum?) then I would go for that...So luckily this one doesn't have the standard 2mb...

We do not recommend you make puchasing decisions based on Forum messages...The speed is actually pretty good considering the low price of the printer...Would recommend this for every home or small business user...

Our old Epson inkjet, after many faithful years of service, had started to get a bit erratic...We checked out the reviews of the ML-1510 on Amazon (the ML-1520 hadn't been reviewed at that point) and some of the comments gave us pause for thought but either the reviewers were overcritical or Samsung have improved the ML-1520...The print quality is good...
