My Epoque EHS-1000HD housing flooded after only seven dives, thereby totally ruining my Sanyo HD1000 camcorder...Just bad luck or is Epoque's underwater housing prone to leaks...Inside the housing, the HD1000's auto-focus becomes very noisy, rendering any underwater tone almost useless (unless you shoot in locked focus mode...Still, I recommend using a WAL...

Last night I charged each one of them in the HD1000 (getting ready for a trip this weekend...Obviouslyan extra battery or two or more and maybe a couple of memory cards or morefor the casual user is a good starting point...One of the fun thingsabout the HD1000 is that it is of a size that allows you to take it practically anywhere and you aren't going to want to haul a ton of extras...

Good quality, but a little fuzzy in Full HD with loss of detail (HD720 upscaled...Good quality but too much pixilated in FullHD (HD720 upscaled...But as a general rule, professionals prefer the Sanyo Xacti HD1000 thanks to its optical options, the possibility to put an external microphone and the multitude of other options which suits to customers’ needs...We imagine that there...
