I am wondering if someone has this model and what settings (basic and advanced) did they find good for their setup...SD is not that great but HD is pretty good with 120Hz frame rate...I recently picked up a barely used Sharp Aquos LC-46D82U for a very good price...

If the 2 models are side by side, you are in luck ask for a demo of both at the same time...If you are an avid sports watcher I would recommend the 82u as it will give you a better, faster picture...See what you prefer and there is no real difference to your own viewing likes then consider the 1.3 as potentilly a future asset to you but your primary concern is personal viewing and comparing of both...

how do i know if this tv have banding, cant remember what to look for...This was a frequent problem before which sharp rectified for the customers that experienced it...no banding on mine, guess I got lucky...

my question is if you had this choice what would be your choice be and why, thanks in advance...i will be hooking up a ps3 and eventually a good receiver, i have a non hdmi receiver right now...im leaning towards the sony, cuz it has 1080p/24p, but the sharps are looking like they are a good lcd...
