i know it still way too early to say anything about the new D80, it's probably still too early to say anything about the A100...nikon has up to iso3200 compared to sony's iso2000 (according to the review...i'm probably going to get the classic "who cares" and troll remarks but i find this an important comparison...

I rotated a few pictures using Picasa before loading them on to the frame...I would highly recommend this product to family and friends...The digital clock during picture slideshow does not show the present time - making it almost useless...

As some other reviews have pointed out, the remote has to be in line of sight with your camera's sensor in order to work, but that is no great inconvenience for my needs...With this remote I just frame the shot and then go play with my son...when he smiles or starts laughing I just click the remote and I have the shot...I bought this because it is so hard to get babies to laugh when they can't see...

Regarding the 16-105mm are you certain you have not got a bad sample...Anyway even if you pay £300 for a 16-105mm it is still quite a good price for the range covered...I've looked at the A300/A350 and they don't seem to add anything for me, if anything they don't look as good as the A200, with less fps and less in the viewfinder, and I'm not fussed for articulating screen or a viewfinder...
