I got a few blurred pics initially too, but I think that it's mainly due to: (a) hurried autofocus, or (b) camera shake - common in a lot of small P&S cameras...I wonder whether the uncharacteristic softness issue with the Nikon 5200 is also mainly due to camera shake (even smaller than P100, must be hard to keep steady...Just got my new Sony DSC P100 recently and...

So I use M and 1/60 or 1/80 and wide open for in door shot...However, if you leave the P100 in P mode and set the contrast and sharpness to +, they look equally good...If you read the user reviews online, the P100 seems to produce very mixed results esp...

I found that it's good to do that with any camera that has auto focus, even SLR cameras...Here is a link to a website with more Sony P100 sample photos...I'm not recommending this item, I don't even have it yet, I'm buying it but I just wanted to mention it cause it might help...My images are untouched and actual straight from my Sony P100...
