Have you tried to capture the video from a different VCR to see if it reacts differently...Maybe it is the VCR sending a bad signal...IF I INPUT A COLOR BAR GENERATOR, OR COMPOSIT VIDEO FROM ANOTHER CAMERA, THE COPY INHIBIT IS NOT PRESENT AND THE "RECORD" FUNCTION WORKS OK...
