This is a slight inconvenience but I would like it to work as it is supposed to...I increased it from 500 to 1500 and it did not change the result...Would changing the sequence possibly be a solution...

On a somewhat related note, where's a good place to buy HDMI or component cables for cheap...I don't know what DVD player u have, but generally speaking, this specific model has a very good pic...

When I connect this player to my Samsung rear projection HDTV using a HDMI to DVI cable, I am getting a blue haze around the bottom and left edges of the screen...I have tried 2 different cables, so it's not the cable...When I switch to an S-Video connection, I do not get the haze...

Using component cables it works fine but I use HDMI for wire control...If you have misplaced your manual you can download a copy from the Sony web site...When I start a DVD it seems to be automatically switching to progressive auto and that causes my screen to go snowy...

Nope still wont go over 720x480 and looks white pushed, so they blamed it on my TV...They said the unit maybe bad, so I took it back and got another...And the surplus comes straightforward and unadorned pro your viewing...
