I've just bought one of those dinky little Sony "Picot" (DVP-PQ1) pseudo-portable DVD players...I've googled for hack sites, but it seems that this one can't be hacked using the standard remote - you need to send codes that the user remote won't generate...
While that player was good, it had trouble playing some of my store-bought DVDs, namely ones with 3 hours or more of video on them...I then spent some time looking around for a player that had the features I wanted and while looking, I stumbled across the SonyDVP-PQ1...It seems to have no problems reading the cheap stuff, and I see no reason it wouldn't read the good stuff...
