DV Info Net refers all where-to-buy and where-to-rent questions exclusively to these trusted full line dealers and rental houses...It will look much better and is easily converted to 24fps...my buddy just bought a sony hvr-z1u and we are trying to get the best film-look possible...

I am sure this topic is on everyone's mind...of us who are still Sony, the Z1u and the FX1 still have many years...I shot some footage last year at a modestly-lit wedding venue using the Canon XL-H1 and Sony Z1U, and I wouldn't agree with that assessment...

The photos I saw of the A1U in a magazine side by side with the Z1U led me to believe they were of similar size...I have not seen a FX1 in person yet, but assume it's similar in size to a PD170 or 2100 series DV camera...I was a good couple of years of dependable (and harsh) field work out of any camera I buy...
