What the reviews seem to favor in this class is the Samsung LN46A650 (or 750) over the Sony KDL-46XBR6...BUT here's the kind of stuff that make me wonder if the image quality is really so good...

I just got my 46XBR6 yesterday and I tested it out...I was floored at how good the NCAA tournament looked...This TV is amazing and I would recommend it to anyone who is on the fence about getting it...After two months of reading in varuios blogs, especially the AVS forum, and driving many miles to see dozens of sets in showrooms, I finally decided on the Sony 46XBR6...

After I got done building my PC, I found out that my local HHGregg had a really great 2 day sale going on and I got the 32 XBR6 which I'd been waiting for for a while to put in my bedroom...It might not be able to handle the resolution of a Dell 30" ultrasharp, but 1080 is plenty good enough for me at this size and it's half the price...I give this TV a big thumbs up and wouldn't hesitate to recommend...
