but otherwise it looks kind of good...it was great to be able to hear ambient noise and there was good clarity in the upper range, but when i was alone i turned the volume up and it sounded like i had an actual equalizer, and had turned off the lowest part of the bass entirely...in fact i was more comfortable and pleased with the $10 MDR-J10 at low volume in a quiet room than the MDR-EX51LP...
