It looks like Sony is finally hopping into the high-capacity flash pool, though the tiny color-screen leaves something to be desired...They need the capability to accept memory pro cards to "upgrade" the player...It runs on AA batteries, so I can reload it anywhere, not waiting for a recharge point...

I would always hesitate to recommend as a life's companion a young lady with quite such a vivid shade of red hair...50 and $60 for the last 2 gig sticks were good deals, but I think this one may need people with large pockets to go the full $100...Not sure if the 4GB is worth the price of two 2GBs, but it's a good player that would cost you at least twice as much anywhere else...

2 cons are the software (for me) and price...All the products live long time with good care and even without(i breakdance with both my hd5 and NH700) and i had no problems at all(it`s been 2 years for these products with daily use of both at least for 6-8 hours...Compact flash is now at 16GB max size, Memory stick pros are at 2GB, but a year will show breakthroughs too...

Cable WMC-NWR1 for selling separately sound recording is necessary...Sound recording with *5 linear PCM/ATRAC3plus 64/128/256kbps type is possible...4GB ] portion of memory capacity is used for data management...
