2:0 color space (it works but it is not as good of a codec as DVCProHD IMHO...They are both good cameras with some serious limitations, it just depends on which set of limitations you can live with...A decent camera, but as Jan Crittenden from Panasonic has pointed out elsewhere, definitely not a replacement for the HVX-200 and not meant to compete with the EX-1...

The P2 cards are completely proprietary...The major advantage of the HVX200 is that it's available now and is proven technology...The HVX200 is not approved by Discovery HD while XDCAMHD is...The EX1 has pretty much everything the HVX200 has minus SD and 4:2:2 color but it has dozens more compared to the Panasonic...

So the camera would have to meet to my standards of good ergonomics and still hold up to image quliaty...There are a lot of pros and cons I need to consider...What are the pros and cons of these cameras...
