Of the aspects that make the PS3 learning curve an expensive proposition, Blu-ray is not one of them...On the movie side Blu-ray (and HD-DVD) has a much more sophisticated environment for creating interactive content than DVD but that is entirely moot for PS3 game development...It will still get plenty of use from being able to play good quality video without dealing in playing content...
Sony really is betting the entire company on the success of the PS3...Gee, with all the bad things that some of the overpaid execs at Sony have done lately I hate to defend them but the fate of the PS3 is not really a serious issue to the future of Sony...I mean as expensive as the ps3 is, the ps2 is selling as well as it ever did and all the PS3 needs...

ok so let you guys in on what you have to do but remember only use it for demos you cant get in your area...go to the PS3 store and select a demo to download - you will notice as it goes to go to the download screen for the download it jumps and get redirect to another file...I would like to add as well that even after the file has downloaded in my case it still showed up as the rub a dub install...
