I'll check at work today and see if I have an owner's manual in the database...Only if said file is setup for that exact piece of equipment (which I don't think is the case here since you're asking for one...Just call me Zaphod (or Steve) --- I never should have started using numbers in a screen name but I just can't stop now...

I bought this machine after mulling over the new HP DVD recorder DC3000 ($399)that allows the recording of analog tapes...As for the price, The $539 I paid isn't too bad for all the features I need that can't be found on other DVD recorder machines currently available...

i look 4 software but i can't find...My goal was to record from satelite in the sony gx7, bring to the computer and somehow burn in cd's to play in the car...when u put the dvd in the pc the media player read like dvd movie , and when i try to open it show like video ts folder if someone can help here thanks...

I'm new to this site and forum, so please excuse me if what I'm asking is not allowed...But most recorders nowadays aren't built anywhere as near as good as those older ones, including the brands I mentioned...There are many post here and at AVforums on replacing DVD drives for other brands of recorders...

I had a working Sony RDR-GX7 PAL DVD RECORDER with FIRMWARE VER.1.82...So, would you please, send me the file, containing the Firmaware for Sony RDR-GX7 Ver.1.82 or higher, so I can return to the previous firmware of my DVD recorder and make it work...Can someone recomend a good progressive scan machine if that's the course I have to take...
