My remote's (Sony RM-U252) volume control died on me and i wanted to know if anyone could please find me the code for my SonySTR-D665 receiver...The receiver still works perfect (it's a surround-sound unit) but i guess i need to try to program another remote to adjust the volume now...If anyone else reading this has a few remotes they always need and can't stand...
My best advice is to find the best, most efficient speakers you are happy with given your power range and save the fancy for the content you play on it...I added an AM stereo decoder and did my best to widen the AM bandwidth (the capacitor...I don't know what else to do with it--it has 2 video inputs and everything I could hope for, the power is adequite in all respects and it has a pleasant sound...
Right now I own a SonySTR-D665 Receiver from 1993 or so...ps-I dont know if this matters but i cant use hdmi with my tv I can only use component but I will be buying a 1080p tv with hdmi later on this year...
