ATSC and NTSC support would point to something like a WinTV-HVR-1600 or like hybird tuner...As you know only a DCT has official QAM support in Media Center...I'm not sure that any of these hybrid tuners have QAM support...

Sony VGX-TP1 HDMI out won't connect to JVC RX-D411S receiver HDMI input...I recently purchased a Sony VAIO VGX-TP1 home theater PC...My television displays "No Signal" when DBS is selected on the receiver and the computer is turned on...When I change to other settings, such as VCR (my PlayStation 2) and DVR/DVD (my Xbox 360), the HDMI light illuminates...

The other model is in black and adds a 500GB and Blu-ray...Dana I don't think this is cablecard ready as it's designed for Japan and not the US...I don't want to buy some machine and find out that it doesn't have the blessings to run CableCard...
