I haven't personally heard Profile amps so I am going off of what I have read on the several forums i read, but the consensus seems to be that for the money its a good amp and sounds pretty good...I haven't bought a Sony amp and I don't ever think I will because there are too many good names out there that have amps at similar wattage and pricing to take a risk on Sony...Sony...
