Well, our neighbors over at Autoblog actually got their hands on the TomTom Go 300 and gave it a full workout, finding the $620 system to be "a keeper and a bargain...Maybe he has more up to date on his brand new Go 300...

I had a TTG 300 but returned it because the traffic was buggy and the maps were out of date...I like the detailed maps and better voice prompts on the 350c but I think mine may be defective...

Usually after 30mins of generating one will eventually work...I don't think that there is a crack for this version of tomtom, but you could try using the keygen posted above by Brooklyn (& let us know if it works for you...The map folders will need copying to your memory card, but they will also need activating if you are not using a cracked version...

Firstly, thanks to everyone who reponded to my previous post below - all your comments were of great help in making my GPS purchase decision...Are there any real advantages to opting for the 500 over the 300...All opinions and advice on the 300 vs the 500 will be much appreciated...Personally I dont find the 300 lacking in speed - Having said that the 500 was not available when...

There was a Garmin which looked pretty good but it seemed to lack a few options found on the Tom Tom...The 300 unit seems to get good user reviews for the most part though I have heard that the company could use a few lessons in customer care for after sales support...The sound quality on the 300 is excellent, so if its only a little worse it will probably be fine...
