There should be a blue Fn key on your keyboard...you hold that down and press the blue key with a monitor on it, probably F4, which transfers the signal to the external monitor you connect...Like I said it starts (fan, lights) but nothing on screen...toshiba laptop prob - Windows NT / 2000 / XP / 2003...
