Frankly "comments" of that sort uasually come from the very uninformed or the passionately biased, rarely from dependable sources...I saw both the models at Bestbuy the other day and i have to say clearly Samsung is the winner in terms of color/brightness, but just the thought of having 1080p under a $1000 seems good...i have both playstation 3 and xbox 360 Elite and i would DIE to see those in 1080p...

My wife and I shopped around, and we kept coming back to the Toshiba 32HL67U...DVD movies and video games look great on the 32HL67U, too...The TV's few drawbacks are that the non-HD channels don't look very good, and there's no picture-in-picture...The Toshiba Regza 32HL67U is a great 720p set...
