I need advice on which of these is the better tv...There are a couple things I still dont like about the toshiba but in the end it actually did come down to picture quality...So in a nut shell both the toshiba 52xv545u and the samsung ln52a630 have features the other doesnt but I believe the toshiba has better features for me...
forums.audioholics.com
I dont think that the Toshiba 52xv545u is meant to compete with the Samsung LN55A950...The Toshiba 52xv545u is set to retail around $2500 and the Samsung LN55A950 retails for around $5,000...The A950 is certainly the *better* LCD, but I certainly wouldnt pay $5,000 for it when i could get the excellent (or at least expected to be be excellent) Toshiba 52xv545u...

All that information in a review from a professional, and yet no mention about off axis viewing, probably the biggest single complaint about LCD displays from all other reviewers...Not as good as a Hi Def signal would but WAY better than any of the other SD signals I get, simply because the original signal actually was Hi Def from CBS...That seems like a pretty big omission...

They do not reflect our opinions...It integrates well with other brand names throught the regza link HDMI connections...The picture is great when you use DVDs, It's Good to very good with SAT TV...

It is not what I went in to purchase...I want something that is known to be a good tv and have very few problems (who isn't...Toshiba 52XV545U lcd has white spots in the top corners - TVs - Future Shop Community Forums...
