Also, could not get the 56HM195 set to show 4:3 without stretch, probably due to the receiver setting (I can't stand stretched scenes...I now believe that the PQ can be very good depending on the quality of your source...Ultimate Electronics and several other stores are displaying a very good/ vivid HD picture on closed loop signals...

Anyway watching the hd demo loop they had they had a clip of Star Wars III and I was suprised the Toshiba looked so good...I saw the 62MX195 on the weekend and compared to the Sony there was quite a bit of difference that I did not like...I picked these two because both had dark seens that are hard on DLPs and Gladiator has some real colourful scenes so I thought they would serve be good for...

The local Sears outlet store has the Toshiba 56HM195 for 2300 plus 10% off...Anyone got one or anything good or bad to say about it...

I think it's a great picture with a good price point...That's a good question, I have been unable to find out...For a 1080p set, that's a pretty good price...
