so some information may be slightly out-of-date...However, soon after it progressively got worse as the recordings I would make began having many more pauses, I counted 10 in the first 15 minutes of the last movie I recorded from TV, rendering the recording I made useless...You should confirm all information before relying on it...

but I would recommend this unit...I don't have a camcorder or any home movies that I want to burn to DVD, so I can't offer any advice on how this unit works for that task, but if you want a reasonably priced, fairly easy to use DVD Recorder, I recommend the Toshiba D-KR2...

But I come back and find that the DVD player that feeds into the Toshiba D-KR2 appears to have skipped or stuck at one point on the origianl DVD...The original was made using the Toshiba D-KR2...

I have a Toshiba D-KR2 that has no problem playing pre-recorded disks...Other times it will refuse to record to a disk claiming the disk is bad...Other times it will refuse to record to a disk claiming the disk is bad...
