AFAIK, all laptop and LCD manufacturers and have a dead pixel policy and anything less than 5 (varies on the product) isn't considered defective...The good news is that many times the pixel is just stuck and easily fixed...It is qquite common for individual pixels to go bad since there are literaly millions of them on any given screen...

It's dramatically faster than my P4 2.8GHz/9800 Pro/36GB Raptor PC that I built a few years ago...Overall, no regrets although it's certainly expensive and can be a tough sell if you don't have the funds...they're not bad by any means, in fact they're pretty good, but I'm still not missing my CRT for video work if you know what I mean...
