Ill jut throw it out in 2 years...Too bad only a handful of titles even use the HDi on HD DVD in the first place...By the way, Amazon may seem like a good deal with the Toshiba for $300, but the 5 free HD DVD's they limit you are really crappy! Bestbuy offers 4 free HD DVD's at $399, but you can pick any four HD DVD's in the store...
Folks, I bought a Tohiba HD-A20 player from Best Buy last June - yup, full pop price back then - and I have really, really wanted to love HD-DVD...So off I go and deal with the usual pathetic Best Buy web experience to get me my big buck, spanking new ToshibaHD-A20...They can't support the product and won't make good...Your bad experience has nothing...
I have a 73" mitsu diamond, top of the line 73833...When it was over and I switched back to HBO HD showing Blood Diamond, it looked just as good, IMHO...So, if your set is smaller then that explains it...
