Ill jut throw it out in 2 years...Too bad only a handful of titles even use the HDi on HD DVD in the first place...By the way, Amazon may seem like a good deal with the Toshiba for $300, but the 5 free HD DVD's they limit you are really crappy! Bestbuy offers 4 free HD DVD's at $399, but you can pick any four HD DVD's in the store...

Not too bad, but a little slower than the 360 add-on...10 dB is quite a bit, so if all sounds good, then it's probably fine...On my TV, it didn't look good at all...even after weeks of trying different calibration and service menu settings...

I agree 100%, regardless of the retailer, from the launch of the A2, till the announcement of the A20, A2 owners should get a HUGE deal if they choose to upgrade, first time Toshiba has let me down, at least a firmware update to make the A2 1080P...So, a good strategy might be to wait til the A20 comes out rather preorder it...I don't know why anyone would feel ripped off...

Folks, I bought a Tohiba HD-A20 player from Best Buy last June - yup, full pop price back then - and I have really, really wanted to love HD-DVD...I had a PS3 since January '07 and the Blu-Ray is awesome...So off I go and deal with the usual pathetic Best Buy web experience to get me my big buck, spanking new Toshiba HD-A20...They can't support the...
