I'm looking for the code for my Toshiba DVD model # SD1600...Rob - To be specific, the code is accepted by the remote (2 flashes) and the DVD didn't respond...Remote Central reserves the right to remove or modify any post that is deemed inappropriate...
I was bored one day and i looked up my tv on the toshiba.ca website and i found to my astonishment that the horizontal resoultions is only 1600 lines...The number of lines referrred to in the specification is the number of vertical lines that can be resolved horizontally...The 1600 refers to how "quickly" the CRTs can turn on/off as they scan horizontally and the limit...
HMV is having a promotion where if you buy 25 (overpriced) dvds you get a free toshiba SD1600 player...I believe the SD-1600 only has a Co-axial Digital output...
It has all the current "bells and whistles" with a great picture and sound...I was able to find it on sale for $119.00 with 2 movies which made it too good to pass up...My SD1600 has good picture quality both with RCA plugs and S-Video...
