However, everything I've seen on this unit implies that it doesn't output DTS...because this Eagles disc plays in DTS, will all other DTS discs be decoded and played back in full DTS by my receiver...I recently purchased my first DVD encoded in DTS...

I think I have the audio drop out problem with my SD2008, but I'm not sure...I put in Godzilla and no sound came from the center speaker, I stopped it and pressed play again and sound came from the center speaker...

It's not going to be a breeze but with low prices and heavy marketing, they can sell a lot of units...The XA2 is selling for a very good price right now, and would be one heck of a player with its upconverting capabilities...The XA1 really isn't a bad deal, especially if you need a player that has analogue outputs or coaxial SPDIF outs(which the A2 and A20 unfortunately lack...

Given the similarities in product, I'd think the lower price point would win over the average customer...I prefer a P/E of 20 or lower, however for a well known consumer electronics company, a P/E of 30 is good...
