The L42 has 2 HDMI, 2 component, 1 VGA, as well as a bank of standard SD I/O...And that is a fantastic price for a 42" 1080p set...I have a 42" Westinghouse that is 720p that I got for $850...

I bought this 42" Vizio at Christmas($799), Id give it an 8/10, It is very good overall but a little dark, I used settings I found somewhere online and it improved a lot, but it is still a bit dark...Anyway, I haven't seen a better 42" LCD at this price from a manufacturer that I would trust...
