Ok I had originally been looking at the Vizio VO42L at Costco for X + 150 dollars but I decided to wait for boxing day to see if I could find any good deals...Ok so I went to a Walmart in the city here and picked up the Sony Bravia KDL-40S4100 for X and the Vizio VW42LF for X + 50 as they both seemed like a good deal in store...

You will have this tv for a longggg time...But overall, you are making an investment here...Go with a better tv, such as sharp, samsung or pioneer...

I have heard that other Vizio TVs higher up the product line have an aspect ratio button that can switch between normal/wide/zoom/panoramic...The only downside is that I am now in the middle of re-mapping almost every single Activity I have spent hours setting up...I have also heard that my TV may acutally have the ability to use this feature if I can program my remote to send the signal...

12 My buddy has gone through 4 top of the line Sammy's in less than 3 years...It's my first LCD and yes, the HD performance is good, but I am more amazed by the SD performance...Inputs are a PITA to get to, though...

I have had this Model since Oct 08 and have yet to have any problems with it ver...The picture on the Vizio blows away the Sony...And the sound is also so much better...
