The Yamaha DV-S5750 easily plays discs that don't play in other players due to scratches or just due to the degradation that happens over time with burned discs...Highly recommended - don't hesitate to buy this DVD player...

Heard not so good things about the S1500 and the DV-S5750 seems to have pretty good specs, but it's old...I just order the DV-S5860, apparently is the same hardware than the C750 DVD changer that has very good reviews, just a one disc version...The 5750 is the lower player in the Yamaha line, but I don?t know about the sound and video quality, but it will not play DVD-audio...
