If you want to look to pro type of power amps for your system QSC offers many very good sounding models...the K2 however has a completely differnet type of output stage that works very well with low frequency loads and handeling extremes of impeadance swings from the speaker load...The CE series is great for the price, but cannot compare to the K's...
The guy I bought my PC4002M from did quite a bit of research on the Yamaha pro line and in passing mentioned that the big boy, the PC5002M, went for close to 5K$ back in the late 1980s...I've been running the PC4002M in my main system for a couple of weeks, and it sounds great...As good as it is, I don't think it matches the MX-10000...
