It seems to have everything for present and near future...I'm a new guy here and part of the reason I found my way here is my love of surround with the RX-V3800 which i'm currently using with a Sony SXRD 50, PS3 and HD-A2...

Since I currently own a Yamaha, I would be tempted to stick with the devil I know but I also think Denon is a good brand...This was very good in setting up the radiochannels and now I also have a bakup of my setup on PC for just in case...Denon has been really good with HDMI since they started using them...

The acoustimass Bass module is just that its a bass module not a subwoofer...The bose guy said it had to due with the signal from the player to the reciever and it passing it thru to the speakers and suggested i use optical...The acoustimass Bass module is just that its a bass module not a subwoofer...
