On an eMachines M5105 laptop, I replaced the original HMB891-B01 keyboard...But now when I type e, i, o, q, r, u or w (all in the QWERTY row of the keyboard), the output includes ][ PgUp and another nearby character -- all from the QWERTY row...I found one (or even two, can't remember now) HMB891-B01 replacements for the original HMB891-B01, but the bad behavior was unchanged...

Got a emachines M5105, celeron 2.4 that will not power on...I pulled the keyboard to access the cpu...So, my question is do you think the problem is the cpu or has the motherboard gone bad and probably fried the cpu...
